Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) has become a global priority due to rapid urbanization, environmental challenges, and increasing demand for resilient and livable cities. This study reviewed the effect that the following factors have on SUD: Environmental Management, Safety and Security, Technology in Urban Development, Livability and Well-Being, Green Spaces, Public Transport and Urban Mobility, Waste Management, Sustainable Urban Design and Global Best Practices. The survey was conducted on 50 respondents, and data collected was analyzed descriptively with Pearson correlation, multiple regression, effect size (f²), mediation analysis and Importance–Performance Map Analysis (IPMA). The model accounted for 70.9% of the variance (R² = 0.709) in Sustainable Urban Development. Environmental Management (β = 0.311), Safety and Security (β = 0.301), and Technology in Urban Development (β = 0.289) were the strongest predictors. The results highlight the need for holistic environmental, technological and governance approaches for sustainable and resilient urban development.
